Description: Fermentation workshop on the Farm with Kassia Fiedor
Join us for a ferment class at the farm! Kassia of Infused Holistic Kitchen will talk about why fermentation is so key to digestion and overall longevity, you’ll learn a few basic recipes to get you started on your journey. Some of the class will be demo, and some will be hands-on, and we’ll use organic veggies fresh picked from the farm.
We’ll send you home with one ferment, along with a complementary fermentation kit. We’ll have a few fermented snacks to try.
What You’ll Learn to Ferment:
Sauerkraut (you’ll take home your customized kraut)
Quick Kimchi
Preserved Lemons
Kassia’s Easy Ginger Ale
Traditional Dill Pickles
You will leave with:
A ferment kit to use at home
Quart mason jar w/kraut
1 kefir soda starter culture
